A bracelet is one of the most versatile pieces of jewelry. It can be matched to any outfit and any situation. Throughout the history of mankind, bracelets could be seen everywhere: at ancient sites of primitive hunters and court balls of European monarchs, on the thin wrists of oriental dancers and the powerful hands of brutal bikers, at rural holidays and informal parties. Now they wear it in the office and on vacation.
And each of these situations requires bracelets to have an appropriate attitude and personality.
If you don’t have a bracelet in your box to match some outfit or occasion, it’s easy to make it yourself. And the material ideal for any situation is natural stone. Stones have one valuable property - they look great in any style in which you want to decorate them.
Required materials and tools
To create a bracelet you will need:
- natural stone beads - to your taste;
- lock for jewelry;
- jewelry pins;
- thin pliers.
Important! The basis for the bracelet is a jewelry cord, a special wire, a chain with large links, a leather cord or a simple rope.
How to make a bracelet from stones with your own hands?
There are many different techniques, everyone can choose to their taste. Sometimes the stones themselves dictate the style: a specific shape or size.
The elegance of natural stone
For this model, you should take a special wire with a memory effect - it is already twisted into rings that fit perfectly on a hand of any size.
Measure out the required number of wire rings - as many rows as your bracelet will have. Or a little more - if the stones are large, the rings will be a little wider and more wire will be needed. In any case, cutting off excess wire is easier than adding the missing length.
String the beads in any order, matching them harmoniously in color and texture. You can place beads or special metal separator beads between the beads; with them the product will be more impressive.
When you have the required number of rows, attach the second part of the lock. Cut off the excess wire.
Advice! In such bracelets, unusual shapes of stones look especially impressive: geodes and druses. But often they do not have a through hole, but are framed with ears. In this case, the wire can be cut in the right place, and the stone can be attached in the same way as we attached the lock.
Berries
Using natural stone You can imitate other natural forms - for example, berries or bunches of flowers. To do this you will need a chain and small jewelry pins.
Each stone bead is put on a separate pin and, with its help, is attached to a chain link (photo). Quite dense, several beads per link.
The free end of the pin is bent with pliers into a ring on a chain link, and the excess length is cut off.
Among the stones you can place decorative elements - for example, glass or metal leaves, flowers or buds.
A lock is attached to the ends of the chain.

Advice! Bright colored berry beads can be diluted with small beads of a suitable shade of green - not all berries ripen at the same time. Let's add realism to the bracelet!
Crystals
For this option you will need large beads with a raw stone effect.
Simply string them on a strong jewelry cord, diluted with other stone beads or separators.
Advice! The “berries” from the previous version will look great as a separator. In this case, the pins are attached directly to the cable. If you decide to dilute the crystals with metal fittings, elements of natural, brutal textures will do.
Corals
This material pairs well with natural stones, adding color and drama.
It is better to make a bracelet with corals on a thin wire. Heavy stones are strung on several wires at once, when it comes to lighter corals, they are strung on each wire individually, creating the volume and chaos of a real coral reef.
Stones with leather and strings
An original option suitable for both natural and avant-garde styles.
The twine is cut into several long pieces. The pieces are folded in half and tied together to form a loop. A jewelry bell or other end cap is attached to the loop.
Then the entire bundle of threads is tied into a large knot. Then stone beads are strung on separate threads so that a rope can be seen among them.After this, the next knot is tied close to the beads.
Knots and beads are alternated to the desired length of the bracelet. The end of the bracelet is secured and closed with a bell end. A lock is attached to the ends of the bracelet.
Advice! In this option, you can do without locks and end switches, weave a rope loop at one end, and place a large elongated bead at the other end, which passes into the loop with force. The castle looks original and traditional at the same time!
Instead of twine, you can use leather laces, the same idea will look completely different. In addition, in this case the bracelet will last longer.
