- Plastic machine, which allows you to change the configuration (number of rows and columns).
- Hook, made of polymer material.
- Rubber bands various colors;
- Small C or S shaped clasp.
How to weave a bracelet on a machine
Let's look at how to weave elastic bands using the “Star” pattern.
Step-by-step instructions for creating a stylish bracelet.
- Set and adjust the placement of pegs in a large loom so that there are 3 rows almost parallel, spaced a few centimeters apart.
IMPORTANT! The central row should be offset relative to the side lines. Visually it looks like a chess pattern.
- Place a dark brown or purple elastic band on the first column in the center and a similar one in the left row. Connect successive pins on the left and right in series. Thereby an oval shape of the bracelet blank is formed.
- Start creating the base for the star. To do this, connect the base of the left row and the second in the center with a raspberry elastic band. It is necessary to put on the remaining elements in a clockwise direction. This is how a 6-petal star is formed.
- A circle should be threaded onto the column located in the central part, having first twisted it into a figure of eight and folded it in half.
- Make similar six-pointed figures along the entire length of the machine. Complete them with eights.
IMPORTANT! The outermost petal of one color is the beginning of the construction of the next star.
- For more comfortable weaving the structure must be rotated so that the columns are the flat side facing you.
- Bring the hook to the middle of the polyhedron - the column in the center. Hook the raspberry elastic band and pull it out from under the folded figure eight. The resulting loop needs to be thrown onto the post from which it is stretched. Make similar weaves for each petal counterclockwise. Repeat for all stars.
- We weave the side lines of the bracelet. Take the hook and pull out the bottom brown elastic from 1 peg of the central row and put it on the 2nd post on the left. Then, by analogy with the second column of the left row, remove the loop and put it on 3, etc.
The bracelet is almost ready. You just need to carefully remove it from the machine and attach the fasteners.
