Expensive jewelry, such as wedding rings, often become family heirlooms, passed down from generation to generation. In some families, it is customary to propose marriage with the same ring, which the bride-to-be will have to wear throughout her life. However, most girls refuse to wear someone else's jewelry, citing superstitions and bad omens.

Signs and folk superstitions that have survived to our times do not recommend wearing other people’s jewelry, citing the fact that:

• a ring given by the mother-in-law can provoke quarrels in the family, which will lead to divorce;
• rings made of silver can bring troubles and illnesses to the family of the new owner;
• a product that belonged to a cousin will bring serious health problems, which will be difficult to get rid of;
• wedding and engagement rings that have undergone a wedding ceremony can become a reason for a quick divorce for new owners;
• bought from a stranger, they can transfer the problems and worries of the previous owner to the new owner.

Important! You can only wear gold or silver received as a gift from a loved one.

If a mother gives her daughter her favorite (not wedding) ring for her birthday, then it will only bring her good luck and happiness.

There is a dermatological disease called mycosis (fungus). The disease caused by the activity of fungi of the genus Candida is very difficult to cure, since it progresses quickly and depends primarily on the state of the person’s immunity.

It is very easy to catch a skin fungus; most often it is transmitted through the patient’s personal items, which include clothing, gloves and, of course, rings. That is why trying on and constantly wearing jewelry that belonged to a person you know little or not at all can be dangerous to your health.

Important! If chance helps you find someone’s lost jewelry on the street, it is better not to put it on your finger right away. There is an opinion that a pawn shop will help cleanse the product of the energy of the previous owner, where it can be handed over and immediately bought back. It would also be useful to treat with antiseptics, which can kill most of the known microbes that cause various diseases.
