Historical reference
We owe the appearance of unusual jewelry made of laminated glass to Venetian glassblowers. Back in the 12th century, they managed to develop an unusual technology that made it possible to create durable products with bright patterns. The technological process involved the use of direct firing of the product. Since in Venice itself the houses were, in most cases, wooden, there was a huge risk of a massive fire. To protect themselves, the city authorities moved the glassblowing workshops to the island of Murano near Venice. This is how the products got a specific name.

Scratches often form on the top layer of glass; in order to prevent their appearance, items are stored separately from other jewelry, in special boxes or fabric bags. For the same reason, it is necessary to remove jewelry before going to bed.
