Very often you hear the opinion that only teenage girls wear the smallest bra size when their breasts have not yet formed. This is only partly true. What is the smallest bust size?

To find out your bra size, you should measure the circumference of the chest at the most convex points and the circumference under the chest. Measurements are made in centimeters. The difference between the first and second digits will be the value by which the size is determined.

If the difference is 10–11 cm or less, then the bust is the smallest, the so-called “zero”. A difference of 12–13 cm indicates the first size, and a difference of 13–15 cm indicates the second.

Marking of small bras

People still call bra sizes according to the old Soviet system: 0-1-2-3 and so on. Our country has long adopted international standards that define parameters differently. Bras are marked with a number and a Latin letter.

The number is the volume under the bust: 65, 70, 75, 80, etc. Knowing this is necessary for a comfortable fit of the corset. Next to the number are the letters: AA, A, B, C, D, E, F, G. They indicate the volume of the cup. The smallest parameters correspond to the markings 65AA or 70AA.

Important! To choose the right bra, it is important not only to know your size, but also to try on the product before purchasing. This should be done necessarily, because not all manufacturers conscientiously adhere to the accepted classification, and the indicated numbers may not coincide with the parameters of actually sewn bras.

What models are suitable for small breasts?

It is a mistaken opinion that a bust of modest size should definitely be enlarged with a push-up model:

• firstly, for small elastic breasts it is not suitable for its anatomical structure;
• secondly, constantly wearing such a model is harmful, because it forces the breasts to be placed in the cup in a position that is unnatural for female physiology, and also compresses them with the bones.

What remains for those with small breasts? For everyday wear or rare appearances, girls buy models:

• with smooth cups - allows you to wear a tight tank top, dress, T-shirt, sweater;
• underwire or with an insert under the bust - slightly lifts the bust;
• with removable straps - for clothes with open shoulders;
• balconette and half-cup bra - for low-necked dresses and blouses;
• soft shape – supports the breast without squeezing;
• sports model – for supporting and easily fixing the breasts during active sports.

Important! Thin girls, who usually have a small bust, are not recommended to choose models with underwires. The pressure of a bra on such a figure will be felt very strongly.
