Invented in the first quarter of the last century, boxer briefs quickly moved from the category of equipment for athletes to the list of consumer goods. And the 80's era improvements made them super popular!
Boxer briefs: what are they?
This is the name of the type of underwear beloved by the population - comfortable and versatile, these briefs rightfully do not leave the position of favorite, having long overtaken the “family pants” that are too loose in every sense. Boxers differ from the latter in their elegance - when sewing them, in addition to the soft knitwear that allows you to fit your figure, a wide elastic band is used. In the most general form, boxers are extra long briefs (can cover up to a third of the thigh). Available in two options:

In 1984, the French company NOM designed briefs taking into account the features of male anatomy. Since then, boxers have become widely equipped with a special design like a codpiece: thanks to the special internal cut, the most intimate things were given the opportunity not to dangle haphazardly, but to be comfortably supported. Along with convenience, this added to the model and aesthetics: a man’s figure in such a product looks more toned, showing off all the bulges.

Having undergone a peculiar evolution, boxers exist in a variety of style solutions, differing in cut and color (usually quite strict). All their diversity comes down to such varieties as:
- shorts are a loose-fitting product, most often made of cotton, and for aesthetes - made of silk;

If most gentlemen do not wear underwear in “cheerful” colors, then ladies don’t have to be shy: cartoon characters and flowers, bright hearts and bows will only add piquancy. More “adult” products are decorated with embroidery, lace, and ribbons. There are many varieties, and these can be:
- shorts – with a high or low waistline;
- briefs - the lower edge of the trouser leg runs in the middle of the butt, which is very sexy;
- culottes - completely cover the back and upper thighs;
- maxi - can reach the knee, which is difficult to overestimate in the cold season, but it is necessary to take into account the characteristics of outerwear.
Important! Modern underwear should be selected so that the outerwear fits like a glove, without “giving away” the underwear worn underneath. Wearing boxers under tight-fitting trousers and skirts should be done with caution, especially if the waistline is not too high.
