There is a strong opinion that her condition depends on what kind of underwear a woman is wearing. Many ladies, based on Soviet experience and foundations, still do not attach due importance to underwear, preferring modest and comfortable ones. But instead of giving up modern promises, it’s better to try it once and give yourself beautiful lingerie. When you visit a store, you will have to choose between different types of panties. Let's take a closer look at the most popular ones - thongs and bikinis, and the differences between them.
What is a thong?
There is practically no girl today who does not have a thong in her wardrobe. Quickly bursting into women's wardrobes, they captivated men and quickly took up residence in women's dressers. But this element of underwear was born not with the help of a famous designer, but only thanks to an American senator. A man in the mid-30s of the last century visited a striptease establishment and was greatly outraged by the absolute nudity of the dancers. There was a loud scandal and the mayor ensured that all striptease participants were required to cover their genitals.But in order not to lose sexuality and the element of frankness in dancing, they found a way out in the form of thong panties.
Thongs are a very open product, in which only the front part of the body is covered, and the buttocks are completely exposed. On the back side of these panties there is only a thin strip, which is successfully “hidden” between the buttocks.
After strippers, these panties began to be used by fashionistas on the beaches. Now the buttocks could get an even and beautiful tan, and at the same time all intimate areas were covered.
Reference: Initially, thongs were worn by our ancestors - men. It was a comfortable piece of clothing that did not hinder movement during primitive hunting, but at the same time covered everything that was needed.
Three thin stripes united at the back, for all their banality, also have varieties:
- T-strings – form the letter “T” on the buttocks with thin ribbons, and in front there is a small triangle of fabric;
- V-thong is an inverted model of the previous version: here the triangle is on the back, and in front there are ribbons in the form of the letter “V”;
- G-strings are almost invisible panties with very thin ribbons, an extremely invisible triangle in the front and a very low rise;
- C-thongs are a rather bold solution, in which there are no side ribbons at all. This model is held on the body thanks to a frame base that covers intimate parts;
- Tanga - perhaps the most understandable and favorite model - has a sufficient amount of fabric in the front, wide ribbons on the sides, and enough fabric in the back to cover part of the buttocks. A distinctive feature is the low waist.
Important: despite the strangeness of the C-string model, sometimes this is the only option suitable for an open or very tight dress made of transparent fabric.
There are also more rare models that are either too revealing or more covered up.
What about the bikini?
Bikinis “came to light” thanks to the brave Brigitte Bardot, who appeared on the beach in panties with a very low rise. Otherwise, the model is closed - the front and back are equipped with triangular inserts, and they can be connected either with thin braids or with wide fabric.
Almost every woman has bikini panties in her wardrobe. They can be quite modest, or, on the contrary, provocative and interesting. One thing unites all the variations - sufficient coverage of intimate parts and a low rise. By the way, both a bikini and a thong can be part of a swimsuit.
Conclusion
The difference between the two models mainly lies in the back of the product.
The choice of one model or another always depends on personal preferences. In any case, you need to give preference to natural fabrics and make sure that elastic bands that are too tight do not leave marks. Thongs can be difficult to wear during your period, and bikini briefs sometimes don't fit well with tight clothing. It's probably smarter to have both models in your closet.
