A fur hat with a telling name - boyarka - is considered an original Russian headdress. It was worn by boyars - respected and wealthy people, and therefore in the old days they were especially sensitive to tailoring. Today the boyar's hat is not forgotten. It was worn, is worn and, most likely, will be worn by beautiful women who know a lot about beauty and confident, charismatic men.
Boyarka is a headdress consisting of a fur band (a kind of rim) and a crown (a flat or slightly convex upper part). This is a fairly high hat that reliably protects your head from the chilly winter wind. In addition, it lasts a long time, as it is made from high-quality materials.
Much in the fashion world has migrated from men's wardrobe to women's. Boyarka is no exception. Today, women wear it just like men. This “transition” was gradual, imperceptible and long-lasting.
The main difference between this hat and others that are similar in appearance is the fur band. However, when sewing the upper part, it is permissible to use leather, suede, and these days, dense synthetics.
The height of the band is standard - at least 10 cm.A well-chosen headdress covers the ears and sits tightly on the head. Therefore, it is important to choose the right model so that the boyarka does not put pressure on the forehead, but also does not allow cold air to pass through.
The inside of the hat is necessarily insulated. Nowadays, synthetic materials (for example, synthetic winterizer) are used for this. However, there are models that are completely natural and have down as a lining.
Boyarka today is also considered an expensive accessory that deserves careful selection of the remaining details of the image. It is quite voluminous, and therefore will be completely inappropriate in combination with a sports jacket or an oversized down jacket. Her “colleagues” are a fur coat and short fur coat, a sheepskin coat, a coat or a strict classic down jacket. Women's boyarka looks luxurious in combination with outerwear of a fitted or straight cut and with boots with stable small heels. A men's hat is also ideal for ensembles with outerwear made from natural materials: fur and leather. She looks great in an ensemble with a drape winter men's coat and formal trousers.
It is believed that the main decoration of a boyarka is fur. It’s especially chic when the fibers are long and unobtrusively “hang” over the eyes. Sometimes the hat is still decorated, but carefully, without turning it into a clumsy and tasteless headdress. So, a small (approximately to the base of the neck) fur ponytail at the back looks great. Thin elastic ties with beads at the ends are interesting. Such laces perform not only a decorative function: thanks to them, the rim can be tightened a little to make wearing the hat more comfortable.
