Next, wait 15 minutes until it is absorbed and apply the foundation. 1. For those who like bright lipstick, concealer can be used as a base for it. After all, it is known that it must be applied to some kind of stable base. In this case, the concealer will act as a primer. It slightly neutralizes the natural color of the lips, and the shade of the lipstick will be the same as in the tube.However, for these purposes you need to immediately abandon those products that have a mattifying and drying effect. It is better to give preference to a moisturizing composition, but not too greasy so that the lipstick does not crease.
2. Also, regular concealer can act as a base for eye shadow. It needs to be applied in a light thin layer, wait a couple of minutes and blot with a napkin. Then continue eye makeup. After this, the shadows, pencil or eyeliner will lie smoother and be more stable.

The main mistakes when using concealer

1. Apply under foundation. This is the main mistake that many girls make. Concealer is used only on prepared skin. If you use a regular corrective product on dry skin, it simply won’t blend out—unsightly spots will remain on your face. Therefore, it is important to remember here: classic concealer is applied exclusively to foundation! But in the case of colored concealers, everything is exactly the opposite - they are applied under foundation.
2. You shouldn’t smear the concealer all over – it’s better to apply it pointwise and then carefully blend it out. If you are using a product with an anti-inflammatory effect, it is better to tap it in with light pats.
3. Concealer does not replace foundation. Both tools “work” in tandem.
