In fact, it turned out that I was simply using the wrong tool. It was possible to draw clear arrows only with a felt-tip pen eyeliner. And yesterday, when I decided to do the marafet again, it turned out that my favorite remedy had dried out. We had to look for ways to quickly resuscitate. Tell?
Ways to “revive” a felt-tip eyeliner
This decorative cosmetic product has become a real must-have not only for me. A liner with a hard tip allows even a beginner to draw thin and even arrows in this difficult task. But it happens that this very tip dries out and refuses to work.
You can blame both yourself and the manufacturer or seller for this. In the first option, operating rules may be violated. For example, you tried to draw an arrow on dirty skin and forgot to close the cap.The company can be accused of producing low-quality products. The seller could not keep track of storage standards and expiration dates. In any case, the situation when the eyeliner has dried out requires a solution. Especially when there is nothing left until a date or party and there is no time to go out and buy a new plane.
You can revive the felt-tip eyeliner in three ways: with scissors, turning the lead over and using force. Choose any!
Trimming the tip
Anyone who is not afraid to pick up scissors can use this method. Manicure or any other tools are quite suitable for the job. The main thing is that the blades are sharp and thin.
You need to cut it so as not to disturb the shape of the applicator itself. It must be kept as thin and sharp. Otherwise, they won’t be able to draw a thin line.
How do you know how much to trim? It is enough to illuminate the tip of the felt-tip pen with a flashlight. The part that doesn't shine is dried out. This is what you need to get rid of.
After the “operation” is performed, the fresh cut should be dipped in tonic or micellar water. This will help clean out the pores and allow the coloring pigment to penetrate through them better.
"Upside down"
If as a child you did not take the ink base out of the felt-tip pen and turn it over with the wet end towards the lead, you will not understand me. Well, or be surprised to learn that it was possible. In the case of dried eyeliner, you can also perform this trick. But it’s not the contents that you need to take out, but the applicator.
The rod can be pulled out and inserted back, only with the other end. Thus, you will become the owner of a practically new eyeliner.
Important! Don't forget about gloves, otherwise you can ruin not only your manicure, but also the surrounding objects.
Last method
It is suitable to be used only once. At the risk of permanently damaging the tip of the rod, you can use force. In other words, take the eyeliner and apply pressure along your wrist or back of your hand. Of course, not according to the century! Use the paint that stands out during the process to continue drawing your arrows. You can collect it either with a brush or with any other applicator.
