- Apply plaster soaked in water to the entire surface covered with tape, successively from back to front, then under the chest and crosswise across the shoulders. In order for the impression to be strong and solid in the future, you will need to apply at least 2-3 layers of bandages;
- wait until the plaster hardens (not the most pleasant task, because it is very difficult to be in a plaster on the whole body) and start removing it. Take control measurements on the sides and shoulders, as well as on the hips so that you can then connect the parts evenly;
- Carefully cut the plaster figure into 2 halves with a sharp regular or stationery knife. Do this slowly so as not to accidentally cut yourself or injure yourself;
- dry your mannequin and cover each of the two halves inside with melted paraffin;
- fill the insides with polyurethane foam. After applying the last layer of foam, connect the two halves and secure the resulting structure with tape.
- Saw off the excess from the structure so that its edges are even and let it dry.
- remove the tape and remove the resulting mannequin from the mold. Remove any remaining paraffin. Sand with sandpaper;
- cover with putty and sand it again with sandpaper;
- cover the structure with papier-mâché paper;
