Paris Fashion Week takes place twice a year – in January and July. Such events have been held since 1973.

Paris Haute Couture Week is the final one, after similar shows in England (London), America (New York) and Italy (Milan). This private show is the most authoritative of all, drawing a line under the fashion trends of the year. It is organized for famous people, goods buyers, television and the press.

French Fashion Week is a real extravaganza of the fashion industry with a developed plot and production. The most famous Fashion Houses and recognized designers of popular brands present their collections at this show.

In 2020, Paris Fashion Week was canceled due to the coronavirus epidemic.

2021 has seen the resumption of “live shows,” although many designers are still opting for digital presentations of their collections.

Paris Fashion Week 2021 included eight offline shows presented by such famous brands as Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Giorgio Armani, Azzaro Couture, Zuher Murad and the Indian brand Vaishali S.

The remaining designers and fashion houses continue to participate digitally. Among them: Fendi, Ellie Saab, Giambattista Valli and Viktor & Rolf.

The week of haute couture opened with a collection from the Schiaparelli Fashion House.

The previous show of this House was the most impressive in its history. Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Kim Kardashian liked fantastic dresses. Dresses by designer Daniel Rosebery are true art.

The Dior fashion house, led by Maria Grazia Chiuri, presented a collection replete with embroidery. They decorated dresses, coats, short jackets, skirts, emphasizing with their entire appearance that embroidery is now not a carefree woman’s hobby, but a part of her image that has penetrated into all spheres of life and creativity.

The Balenciaga show is the most anticipated of this fashion week. And not by chance. Cristobal Balenciaga closed his fashion house back in 1968, not wanting to “turn his talent into prostitution.” This was caused by the fashion industry's transition from high tailoring to mass production of ready-to-wear clothing.

After 52 years, current creative director Demna Gvasalia decided to return to creating couture collections and restore the brand to its former glory. The release of the collection was preceded by very painstaking work. 63 looks were created in couture style. The collection made a lasting impression.

Paris Fashion Week 2021 continued with a romantic show from the House of Chanel. Designer Virgin Viard was inspired by the fashion of the 1930s, but tried to give the images more lightness and optimism.Hence - bright candy colors, floral embroidery, translucent blouses. The collection looked chic, sophisticated and sophisticated.

Designer Giambattista Valli was inspired by Parisian fashion of the 1940s and 50s, mixed with chic Rococo style. Her “royal” dresses left no one indifferent.

The Iris Van Herpen Fashion House received the nomination for the most creative collection. Iris's dresses are living nature. The style is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style, which is based on the plant world with its smoothness and naturalness.

Paris Fashion Week 2021, the photo of which you saw in our article, is undoubtedly the most memorable event in the fashion industry around the world.

This is a colossal work of not only designers, but also seamstresses, embroiderers, jewelers, accessory makers, and show directors.

Haute couture is fashion of the highest standard.
