Is it possible to glue shoes with a glue gun at home?
Over time, the heel part of the boots wears out. You can temporarily solve the problem using paper clips and hot glue. You can do this as follows:
- We place paper clips into the hole that formed on the heel. It is important that they rest tightly against the rubber.
- Fill the hole with hot glue. You need to pour so much so that it completely fills the hole and is equal to the level of the sole. It is desirable that the rod matches the color of the sole.
- We put the shoes with the soles up for 8-10 hours.
After these actions, the shoes will be able to “live” for some time. It seals rubber shoes well if the damage is on the side. In other cases, it is not recommended to repair shoes using hot glue. It loses its strength as a result of prolonged physical activity, which occurs when walking.
