Why cheap Belarusian shoes are no worse than expensive European ones

I often face the problem of choosing shoes, especially winter ones. Large size combined with a high instep and wide foot create serious problems. It is very disappointing when expensive shoes, which seem to suit all parameters, begin to create discomfort. After two unsuccessful purchases of foreign leather boots and sandals, I stopped looking for expensive European-style shoes.

Shoe selection

Dear does not mean good!

Unfortunately, I was convinced of this from my own experience. Sometimes, after purchasing shoes from European manufacturers, interesting nuances emerge. For example, elegant leather boots with edges turned my tights blue-violet after the first day of wear. In response to a complaint in the salon, the seller handed out a description, which included the line “possible coloring of third-party items.” Calling my legs foreign objects was not entirely correct. Another surprise awaited me when buying autumn shoes, when I came home completely wet. After studying the label on the box, I found the line “for dry weather only.” Where in Russia have you seen dry autumn?

Boots

It’s not worth buying things from European manufacturers on the market; it’s better to visit a salon or brand store.

Full of disappointment, I went to the Belwest salon. It is impossible to describe my happiness when I found the right size, fullness and the boot easily fastened on my foot. Maybe I was just lucky... Within a year I bought those same boots, classic pumps and good, stable sandals. They may not have red soles like Louboutins, but they have withstood the season with dignity and are waiting in your shoe closet next year.

Inexpensive shoes from Belarus - what are they like?

Belarusian shoes are designed for our realities, wet autumn with sudden colds, snowy harsh winters, hot summers. Slavic women rarely have small feet and almost flat, narrow feet. Available in sizes from 37 to 41 with normal fullness and high rise. It’s a shame to buy an expensive thing and leave it to gather dust on the sidelines, comforted by the knowledge that it exists.

You shouldn’t trust sellers who claim that shoes will wear out, fit your feet, and be comfortable. It won’t if it immediately hurts or feels uncomfortable.

The most famous manufacturers of Belarusian shoes: Belvest and Marco. The products of both are distinguished by a comfortable last, a properly installed strong instep support, a stable heel and an excellent safety margin. It does not get wet, does not freeze, requires minimal care, and lasts for several seasons.

Does it make sense to buy expensive shoes from Europe?

Your wardrobe must have shoes that match your evening dress. In this case, it is better to choose a European model, having carefully studied its characteristics and expecting that it will only serve for grand entrances. For some owners of graceful feet, who spend most of their time driving a personal car, expensive shoes from Europe become more of an indicator of status than a really useful thing. Sometimes you are lucky in terms of quality, and a European model is worth its price and lasts for several seasons without any unpleasant surprises.

I haven't had any luck yet. There are Italian Nando Muzi shoes on the shelf; I can’t confirm their authenticity; they ruined my budget at the time. They are universal, suitable for evening and office wardrobes, and worn on special occasions. For everyday wear, I have completely different things.

For several years I prefer to spend the cost of one pair of European boots on two or three pairs of Belarusian shoes. For winter I choose Marco, they have a stronger tread and are not slippery in icy conditions. Belwest sandals never gave me calluses or swelling in the evening. They are easy and comfortable to wear to a party or to spend the whole day running errands through the corridors of our publishing house.

Everyone has their own opinion about shoes, I settled on the fact that often the high price of shoes is not a guarantee of comfort and convenience.
