When purchasing these shoes, it is worth knowing all the intricacies of the material of the product. After all, nubuck, by its structure, is a very durable and valuable material, which has a lot of positive qualities:
- Retains heat for a long time;
- Quite soft to the touch;
- Does not harden in severe frosts;
- While wearing, it does not stretch, perfectly maintains the shape of the legs and gives maximum comfort. The only thing is that cleaning this leather has some rules that you need to know and apply in care activities. Basic Rules;
- Clean only after thoroughly drying the shoes;
- When using home methods for cleaning leather, make precise compositions and solutions, otherwise the shoes will be damaged;
- First, we sweep away dirt and dust with a brush, and only then apply cleaning products;

- In winter, water-repellent compounds must be applied every day after drying;

- Shampoos and cleaning products. To use, first remove dust and dirt from the surface, and only then apply it to the skin.
IMPORTANT: Apply the cleaner to the sponge first and then to the boots.
- To restore color, use coloring aerosols that are suitable specifically for nubuck.
Use home remedies
- For one liter of water, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Then soak a cotton swab and apply to the surface, leave for 24 hours. When dry, there will be no trace of stains left.
- For 40 ml of water, add 10 ml of ammonia. Use this mixture to wipe the stains with a sponge and leave for 12 hours. The spots will disappear.
ATTENTION: Do not use these methods too often, as this may damage the shoe material. It is better to use special cleaning products designed for nubuck, which are sold in every shoe store. First, ask the seller which product is suitable for your shoes, otherwise you risk losing the color of the product.
- If greasy stains appear: sprinkle with starch or talcum powder. Leave for 20 minutes and then brush off any remaining residue. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
How to quickly restore the lost appearance of boots

What not to do
