Clothing is an integral attribute of a civilized society. It covers nakedness, warms and decorates. The attitude of people, and especially women, towards it varies in different parts of the world, and its choice often depends not only on age, but also on mentality, motivation and aesthetic taste.
What do Slavic women wear?
Girls most often obsessed with the idea of marriage, they are genetically aimed at creating a family. Almost everyone dreams of “catching” a handsome prince (preferably, of course, tall, rich, handsome and on a white iron “horse”), who will love and provide for her and future children. If one appears on the horizon, she begins to act without waiting for mercy from nature. In an attempt to attract the attention of the chosen one, he relies on sexuality, using in clothes:
- rich colors;
- emphasizing silhouettes;
- mini-length skirt or dress.
Most young beauties manage to maintain a sense of proportion, but, unfortunately, not all. As a result, the wrong selection of an ensemble - too bright contrasts, excessively tight or ultra-short clothes, an abundance of decor and, on top of all this, “war paint” - causes a backlash and repels young people. The mistakes in such outfits of single mature women who choose a youth style in order to appear younger and more attractive are especially noticeable.
...and the Germans?
They are emancipated, independent of other people’s opinions and do not strive to please anyone. Their first priority is self-realization in the profession and career growth, and family under 30, as a rule, is not included in their plans. Dress strictly in accordance with the time of day, weather, profession and place of stay.
Germany is one of the few countries where individuality, freedom of choice and self-expression are elevated to a cult. There is practically no dress code here, so most women in this country dress for work the same way as for a walk.
One of the main features of the Fräulein and Frau style is it should not be “conspicuous”. Bright contrasts are not welcome, especially in the daytime, but all shades of beige are always in fashion. This does not concern students - no one will judge them for having a colored T-shirt and short shorts. Complex and elaborate styles are not in demand - simple and loose ones are much more convenient, practical and do not restrict movement.
The basic element of a German woman’s wardrobe is trousers. The dress and skirt, if any, often hang in the closet, waiting in the wings. A T-shirt is popular as a top for warm weather, and a sweater, hoodie, sweatshirt or cardigan is popular for cool weather..
The older you are, the more careful your approach to choosing clothes.. In Germany you won’t see a grandmother in a stretched sweater, an oversized skirt and knitted stockings. She will definitely be elegant.
Decorations, details, little things in images
For Slavic young ladies, most often, public opinion is important, especially those who surround them: girlfriends, colleagues, family friends, relatives (to a lesser extent). Having successfully married, they strive to emphasize their social status in every possible way with loud labels, furs, gold and diamonds. To achieve maximum effect, they can wear all the most expensive things at once, even if it is not an evening out.
Not very wealthy representatives are often ready to buy a cheap “rag” of dubious quality, as long as it resembles a model from the latest fashion magazine. Sometimes there is a “magpie disease” - a craving for jewelry, rhinestones and sequins.
German women are more reserved and conservative. Value for money is of great importance to them. They won't wear something cheap, but they won't pay more for something than it's worth. There will be no hint of challenge or vulgarity in clothing and accessories.
Favorite addition to the image for 99% - a stylish scarf. It can be of any length and style, but it must be made from natural and high-quality materials.
One more detail - hair and makeup. Russians, Ukrainians and their blood sisters are ready to sleep all night in curlers or get up two hours before going to work to do their hair and “draw” their eyes, eyebrows and lips. German women will never sacrifice sleep for the sake of a “masterpiece” on their heads and complex makeup.
Shoes
Slavic girls are often fixated on their appearance. Wanting to appear at least a little slimmer and taller, they are ready to endure the inconvenience that narrow shoes or stiletto boots “give”: pain and fatigue in the legs, calluses and the consequences of injuries.
Germans place personal comfort at the forefront. They prefer shoes without heels, or at least with a small platform.Sneakers, slip-ons, loafers, ballet flats are their most optimal choice.
How can you immediately understand that this is a Slav and not a German?
A resident of Eastern Europe abroad can almost unmistakably be distinguished from the crowd: she is attractive, well-groomed, with impeccable makeup, manicure and pedicure. Dressed to the nines, beautifully, she prefers heels at any time of the day, even for going to the beach. She brings beauty to the masses and carefully monitors how others react to her. What if her happiness is somewhere nearby, but will pass by? She must be fully armed.
By the way! If she doesn’t take very good care of herself in her homeland, before the trip she will definitely visit a beauty salon: dye her hair, get an eyebrow tattoo, use the services of a nail technician (even if it will cost her a lot of money).
The German woman looks and behaves more modestly and simply, but the basic wardrobe will be carefully selected, in harmony with the color of the eyes and hair. She will not try to stand out from the crowd, “shooting” her eyes around - this is not accepted. She allows herself to be a little careless, although she pays great attention to the health of her hair and nails. He will go to the store around the corner with a ponytail on his head, wearing his favorite jeans, T-shirt and sneakers. You may not even need to put on makeup on your lips and eyes, maybe just a little bit. She is self-sufficient and does not need anyone's approval.
Of course, all the images described above are not all Slavic women and not all German women. In both cultures, there is a certain percentage of women who are both self-sufficient and dependent on the opinions of others.
In Eastern Europe there are more and more people who do not make a cult of their appearance, while in Western Europe there are trendy beauties. Times change, as do tastes, traditions and mentality.Our women, especially young ones, increasingly prefer a casual style: trousers and sneakers instead of dresses and shoes. But still, in the eyes of foreigners, they remain the most beautiful, homely and desirable.
What are you talking about here? In Germany you won’t see a grandmother in a stretched sweater! In the summer we were in Turkey, we were sitting on a bench at the entrance to the hotel, next to 2 grandmothers spreak in German. Typical grandmothers like ours. They also smoke like horses!
I will supplement the author’s article with personal observations. Our ladies are especially striking in winter. Wherever you are, in any country, you can immediately find a Slavic woman on the street by this ridiculous uniform: a knitted hat, a short jacket and blue jeans tucked into black boots. Boots must be black and knee-length. What kind of fanatical love for this “national costume” is this? So, if you want to communicate with your fellow countrymen, look for this image.
