Completing of the work

Using a sewing meter measure the circumference of the child's head. On the black material we mark two parts of the oval. We cut out the patterns and sew them on. This creates the basis for a hat.

Red felt is used to create the scallop. We mark a pattern on the material. It is a strip with rounded upper edges, like petals. We cut it out and sew the petals on the wrong side using a typewriter. We fill the inner cavity of the comb with padding polyester or cotton wool and sew it up. We place the resulting comb along the middle of the cap and sew it on.

Yellow fabric is needed for the beak. We cut out two small triangles from the material and sew the sides to the wrong side. We stuff padding polyester inside and sew it to the hat. Make sure that the beak is located under the comb.

The final stage of the work is making the eyes.. Cut out a small circle from white paper, and a slightly smaller circle from black paper. Glue on the sides of the ridge. The headdress is ready.
