Like all brides, 31-year-old Australian resident Monique Penberthy dreamed of looking spectacular at her wedding. Having an impressive weight of 165 kg, choosing the right dress is not easy. As a result, the bride decides to have a “naked” ceremony.
Planning and canceling a wedding
The girl was very careful about her wedding preparations. For two months she searched for a suitable ivory dress with a full skirt. However, a sudden illness disrupted all plans. Doctors diagnosed Monique with a rare infectious disease - necrotizing fasciitis. Living bacteria, being in the human body, literally corrode it from the inside.
Monique didn't know if she could survive. Naturally, the wedding and the pre-order for the wedding dress were cancelled. After all this, the bride became so upset that she fell into a coma.
"Naked" wedding
After the girl was literally pulled out of the other world and she came to her senses a month later, the young people still wanted to walk down the aisle and do it as quickly as possible. This time the bride decided not to bother with finding an outfit.
She invited her chosen one to marry naked. The groom, 27-year-old Rowan, was absolutely not against this turn of events. Despite all the twists and turns of fate, the young people still got married.
Important! The bride wore only a veil and necklace, while the groom wore a hat and bow tie.
The wedding ceremony was held in the suburbs, outdoors. There was a hippie festival going on there at that time. About 100 guests were invited, and another 600 came uninvited, out of curiosity. Some guests, out of solidarity with the newlyweds, also decided to undress, but there were only a few of them.
In general, those gathered were in a friendly mood, and the wedding was peaceful. And the young people proved once again that no obstacles can hinder true love.
