In the fashion world, where current trends rule, there is a concept of “expiration date”. All fashionable things sooner or later cease to be so and leave the catwalk, only to return a few seasons later in an already changed form. Frankly unsuccessful experiments by designers are gone forever. For a woman who always wants to look fashionable, the main thing is to imagine which trend will go out of fashion in the near future, and give it up in time or not buy it at all.
Trends that are or will soon be out of fashion
In fashion, it is customary to talk not only about what is relevant, but also about the so-called anti-trends. These are things that soared to the peak of popularity, but quickly became the most common wardrobe items and went out of fashion. There are quite a lot of such things, and the girl needs to check if she has one of them lying around in her wardrobe.
Outerwear
Today, the spirit of freedom and convenience reigns in the fashionable wardrobe. Therefore, all raincoats, coats and jackets must be loose-fitting. The jackets that fit the girls like a second skin have sunk into oblivion.The situation is similar in the men's wardrobe. It is suggested to choose a loose coat, perhaps slightly fitted.
Down jackets, popular in our country, can and even should be worn in winter, but you should forget about models equipped with belts and waistbands. It’s better to choose a high-quality semi-fitted jacket and show off in it, adding a stylish scarf.
Painted down jackets are a terrible absurdity that once became popular. This wild jungle or spotted Khokhloma on a jacket or down coat looks very childish. By the way, in children's fashion “Khokhloma” is also not welcome this season.
Important! Fur vests with cross sections are also sent to waste. They have set everyone's teeth on edge for a long time and look downright unattractive. And some young ladies strive to wear a “fur coat” even in the summer, when it gets cold.
Another anti-trend was a ski suit with a winter hat decorated with a pompom. It should be remembered that this form of clothing is appropriate for active winter activities. If a woman goes on a long walk with her children, where she will go downhill, ice skating, skiing or engage in other winter sports, this form of clothing is appropriate. But walking in a park in the city center in sportswear is “not comme il faut.”
What clothes should you avoid?
As already mentioned, freedom of expression is in fashion, and comfort and convenience come first for people. This is why many anti-trends are associated with clothes that are too close to the body.
Thus, the list of things that have gone out of fashion includes:
- all tight-fitting T-shirts, T-shirts, jackets, shirts, trousers and skirts (there must be an “air cushion” between the item and the person’s body);
- thin cardigans (gone are the days when you could throw on a light cardigan to complement your everyday look, now you need to look for a more sophisticated replacement for this item);
- jeans torn at the knees (this ceased to be daring and turned into a childish “fell and tore my pants at the knees”, looks ridiculous and ugly, especially on girls with curvy figures; the anti-trend also applies to men’s fashion);
- jeans with a low waist, artificial abrasions or appliqués (maximum naturalness is in fashion, keep this in mind when choosing everyday jeans);
- denim skirt (a clear anti-trend this season, especially if it is “decorated” with scuffs or holes);
- things with a collar-collar (makes the figure heavier, in particular if you have large breasts; flaunts all the age-related changes on the face, makes the skin visually flabby and unattractive).
The list of antitrends only shows which things are not in fashion today. This does not mean at all that the jeans or skirts you have in your wardrobe will have to be thrown away. They can be remade into current models or complemented with new accessories to make the look fresh and fashionable.
Anti-trends among shoes
So-called “stripper” shoes and boots have long been out of fashion. Here we need to make a reservation: shoes with high platforms can be fashionable - look at the fashion collections of famous designers.
Wedge sneakers are a wild thing that was once invented to shock the public, and girls unexpectedly liked such shoes. This vague symbiosis of sports shoes with feminine ones has long gone out of fashion and is irrelevant this season. And it’s unlikely that it will ever be relevant again.
Flat flats also ended up in the imaginary trash bin.Today there are many other stylish shoes that look more modern and perfectly complement everyday sets. Give preference to fashionable slip-ons, loafers or espadrilles, leaving ballet flats in the past.
Fashion is too fleeting, but this does not mean that your wardrobe needs to be updated every time it takes a new turn. Many items can be worn regularly, regardless of style trends. Especially if you learn how to correctly combine them or remake them in accordance with modern style. It’s better to buy universal models so that they can be adapted to any chosen image.
Nastya, don’t write anymore about clothes!
Better yet, don’t write at all.
why did they write about a thin cardigan like that?))) for me, this is a cool thing)))
