Features of caring for different fabrics
Not all materials can be washed or cleaned using the methods described above. An individual approach is important for the following types:
Leather
Mix liquid soap, ammonia and water. Soak a washcloth in the mixture and wipe the dirty area.
Important! To avoid damaging the skin, you should use non-sharp tools. A soft cloth or cotton wool is acceptable.
Suede
Cleaning in a washing machine is not allowed. Suede does not tolerate water, so dry wash only is required. You can also clean with a suede brush.
Stains on suede can be removed using the following methods:
- Ammonia is applied to the sponge and cleaning is performed;
- Dilute 1 small spoon of baking soda with 200 ml of milk.
Heavily contaminated surfaces can be cleaned using shampoo for suede shoes. A solution is prepared and brushed over the fabric.
Wool
The most “elite” fabric. Wet cleaning with little wetting is ideal. The washing machine is no exception. Can be washed, but at the lowest temperature and without spinning.
Important! Hot water will ruin the fabric and jacket. It is worth remembering that such a jacket requires careful handling. Aggressive substances are also contraindicated.
You can clean it with warm soapy water. Stains are removed using salt, potatoes and vinegar.

Note! You need to iron through gauze.
Within 5 hours the jacket will dry and the smell of fuel will disappear.
Grease stain
The problem area is sprinkled with salt and rubbed until the stain disappears. If the jacket is silk, use a mixture of salt and ammonia.
Berries and fruits
Hot water is ideal for dealing with such stains. You can also use hot milk or hydrogen peroxide diluted in water. (a teaspoon of peroxide for half a glass of water). Then rinse the area with cold water.
