There are many options for how to sew such a thing. Let's draw a basic bodice pattern and, based on it, consider several options for a summer dress.
What parameters are important
To create a pattern you will need:
- Half of the neck circumference is Ssh.
- 1/2 of the chest circumference – Сг (at the protruding points).
- Back length to waist line – Lts.
- Length of the front to the waist line - Acc.
- Back width – Shs (half a measurement).
- Chest height – Vg.
- The center of the chest is Cg.
- Shoulder length – Dp.
Attention! Don't stretch yourself by a centimeter. A boho dress implies a loose fit, so a “tilt” towards reducing volumes is extremely undesirable. In addition, it is better to take measurements while wearing the bra that is supposed to be worn under the dress.
