All parts are cut out and ground down.
The edges are processed and the hem of the trouser legs is formed.

A drawing (pattern) is being constructed. To do this, old shorts are placed on paper and traced along the outline with a pencil.
Mark an additional segment equal to 5–8 cm (from the middle).
Along the hip line they recede 12 cm in width (taking into account the additional detail).
From the middle seam, add 2-3 cm for allowances and laying out the fabric.
Draw smooth curves on the back and front sides (similar to semicircles).
Cut out 3 parts (after transferring the base pattern onto paper).
Cut out ribbons from the remnants of the fabric (length: 3.4 m and width 3 cm).

Sew them at an angle of 450, combining the front and back sides (the oblique cut should form exactly this angle).
The fabric is folded in half, face to face, and stitched. First use a zigzag stitch, then a straight stitch.
The product is ready, the additional detail looks like overlay halves of a skirt.

How to sew a skirt-shorts for a girl
