It is important to make sure that the clothes prepared for storage are clean and well ironed, then when unrolled they will have a presentable appearance.
So, in order to fold a sweatshirt, you will need:
- Place the product on a flat surface, face up. Straighten the sleeves on both sides of the product, straighten the hood. It is important to ensure that there are no wrinkles on the surface, otherwise they may remain on the fabric and you will need to re-iron the sweatshirt before putting it on.
- Fold the hood along the shoulders, move the sleeves to the side seams of the sweatshirt, so as to form a rectangle.
- Mentally draw a line in the middle of the product, take the right side of the product and fold it so that the edge with the folded sleeve touches the middle. Repeat the action on the left side. It turns out to be a rectangle, but narrower than in the previous paragraph.

- Lay the product face up, straighten the hood and sleeves to the sides.
- Mark the middle of the right shoulder seam of the product and mentally draw a line down. Fold the right side of the product along it, and place the sleeve on top of the folded side of the back, like an accordion. Repeat the action on the left side. You should end up with a narrow rectangle.
- Carefully begin to roll the bottom towards the neck into a tight roller. Then tuck the folded fabric into the hood.

- Store only clean, pre-washed clothes in your closet. To prevent wrinkles from remaining on it, it is advisable to leave the ironed item to cool on a horizontal surface and only then begin folding. If the fabric is still wrinkled, it can be steamed or gently ironed through a dampened gauze cloth.
- Check your clothing regularly. Every month it is necessary to wipe the dust on the shelves and walls inside the wardrobe. Once a season, ventilate the closet, take things out and leave the doors open for the day. This will help get rid of the unpleasant smell of stale clothes.
- To prevent the appearance of moths in a closet with warm clothes, it is recommended to purchase special anti-insect compounds or use folk remedies: dried lavender branches or orange peels.
