- Prepare a canvas 2 meters wide, 2 cm longer than desired. Fold the fabric in half with the wrong side out.

- Cut out the bastings and sew along the sides.

- Cut the fabric along the resulting fold.

3. Based on the measurements of your hips, set aside one-fourth of their measurements plus allowances and mark the vertical sides - these are the future sides of the dress.
