Turkey is a magical country of eternal summer, hot sun, gentle sea, delicious food and friendly local people. The relatively low cost of travel and ideal service have made this country a paradise for our (and not only) compatriots.
Looking at the abundance of suitcases that tourists drag at the airport, for some reason you think that all these people are not particularly going to return home. Of course, a vacationer’s wardrobe must include the maximum number of things. But those who have already vacationed in this hospitable country know that most of the clothes will never be needed. And it will go back unpacked.
Undoubtedly, if the trip is not planned during the hot season, then the tourist will need a jacket, a sweater, warm trousers, and waterproof sneakers. But at the height of summer holidays (which lasts here from May to October) it is better to take a minimum amount of things with you. It’s easier to carry an empty suitcase, and you can buy more beautiful new things and souvenirs.
Beach holiday in Turkey: what to take with you
A beach holiday will require a minimum of things.
To the beach
- A couple of swimsuits. The second one will come in handy if something happens to the first set.
- Pareo. It’s better to have two, so you can change when you get tired of the first one. Or combine these wardrobe items. The pareo takes up very little space in your suitcase.
Important! Even the most inexperienced traveler can create a lot of clothes from a light piece of fabric: a skirt, blouse, dress, tunic, top, sundress, cape over the shoulders, headdress.
Another advantage will be the ability of the pareo to dry quickly. So even if it was tied on a wet body, the traveler will come to the restaurant or to her room in completely dry clothes.
- Skirt, shorts, three T-shirts. This is a set for those who don’t like pareos (more precisely, for those who have never tried them). This set will provide a comfortable stay and give you the opportunity to change your wardrobe.
Important! Having pockets on these clothes will come in handy when you're wondering where to put your room key or phone.
- Headdress. An elegant hat, a luxurious hat with a huge brim or a democratic baseball cap will help protect your head and face from the scorching rays of the sun. And they will allow you to enjoy your vacation without the hassle of heatstroke.
- Unfortunately, it will not be possible to completely protect the skin. That's why light blouse with long sleeves will become a reliable companion during adaptation, especially for ladies with delicate skin. Although you can use a pareo here too.
Shoes
- Shoes will come in handy flip flops or ballet flats, sandals or sandals.
- On excursions you may need light sneakers, if these are not city excursions. In the city, the same ones are quite suitable ballet shoes.
Advice! Don't torture your feet with dress shoes! Moreover, they will not fit well with a pareo.
Underwear
Three sets will be enough.Moreover, you will only have to wear it in the evening.
