Becoming the star of a party is not so difficult: the mood to have fun, great company, maximum openness! And of course, a matching outfit!
Club dress code: rules
You are supposed to go to the club to have fun and relax. Some will prefer to calmly relax in a corner with a glass of cocktail, while others will not have enough of all the fiery compositions for dancing. However, everyone must dress appropriately! Clothes made from lightweight fabrics have an absolute advantage.: We’ll leave long sleeves and thick materials for more formal events.
Advice. For those who freeze easily, capes, boleros and stoles will help: you can leave them on the back of the chair when you decide to dance, and throw them on when you return to the table.
Dark colors are also questionable - the club is almost always dark. However, fashionable rhinestones and sequins that decorate the “night” range of outfits will help you not to get lost. All bright things are our case, unless they are tacky or vulgar.
The last point requires special attention: by dressing too openly, you risk looking like an honorary representative of the second oldest or an adventurer. It’s easy to “run into” them by wearing clothes that excessively reveal the chest along with the lower part (others manage to wear an ultra-short dress, or “cut-off” mini-shorts, showing not only their legs, but also the place from which they grow). Dresses that are too tight in combination with kilograms of jewelry and war paint are also questionable..
There are other taboos:
- shoes and clothes reminiscent of beachwear: flip-flops, albeit expensive ones, colorful shorts were clearly invented for a different occasion;
- “country” outfits, like sundresses with polka dots, are the same bad manners as an evening dress in the morning;
- a tracksuit reminiscent of the 90s era.
There are, of course, themed parties (pajama parties, pin-up parties), but this case is special.
What can a girl wear to a nightclub?
Anything that meets two requirements: suit the situation and emphasize the advantages of appearance!
Dress or pants?
These are completely equal options. One visit to the club may be marked by going out in a dress, another in trousers. First case - the opportunity to look feminine and moderately sexy. “Wrap-up” models and dresses with a high waist and a thin belt, with open shoulders, imitating a tunic, are suitable. It is hardly worth wearing a floor-length dress where dancing is expected. The length just above the knee is what you need.
Convenience is as important as beauty. This is not only an opportunity not to get tangled in a long hem - everything is too narrow and tight (a bodice or a tight skirt), falling straps, “prickly” materials are not for the dance floor.
Important! A loose fit and flowing fabric will help brighten up any figure imperfections.The airiness of a dress is not a reason not to wear it to a nightclub.
A trouser set for a party is a completely worthy alternative to a dress. Main, so that the legs are not too wide, the length is not like capri pants or breeches. Arrows on classic trousers can be boring, but are quite acceptable in combination with a light blouse - especially if you plan not to “light up”, but to reflect, looking at everyone’s fun. Tight models like leggings are ideal if your figure allows it.
Blouse or sweatshirt?
This depends on the ensemble partner: imagining a ruffled blouse with jeans or shorts is just as funny as imagining a tutu-type skirt with a sweatshirt borrowed from a sports wardrobe. Some mixing of genres is now acceptable, but not against a sense of style.
Advice. Even if a fashion magazine or best friend recommend wearing things in a combination that causes a slight shock, you should not give in. Self-confidence is more valuable than fashion.
Shorts or miniskirt?
Both are a great way to show off a good figure. Shorts will fit as never before. (Remember the heroine of “Cops in Skirts”, who outfits her partner for a mission in a fun establishment: she mercilessly shreds business trousers with scissors, turning them into skimpy shorts!)
It is important to choose the optimal combination, remembering the ageless rule of fashion: “Have you opened your bottom? Hide the top!. We wear a T-shirt or sweatshirt with a bright print, but with covered shoulders and no higher than the navel.
Blouses of suitable styles and colors will also match the skirt.
Can I wear jeans to the club?
Quite, unless they are everyday basic models. We take out a stylish flaw, painted flares, skinnies studded with rhinestones, and select a catchy top. High heels are appropriate here, as long as they do not cause inconvenience.
Shoes - what kind?
Are you planning to dance until you drop? Then let the heels rest - the risk of getting tired prematurely is too great, and the neighbors on the dance floor are unlikely to be happy if they accidentally step on their feet. However, high-heeled shoes (especially flashy ones - patent leather, bright colors) are good for passive relaxation.
Don't be tempted to wear sneakers - choosing a stylish ensemble with them is not easy. Platform shoes are optimal - aesthetically pleasing and comfortable!
What to choose in the cold?
Winter and the off-season feel “overboard”, but the room is still warm. You most likely take a taxi to and from the party. Hence, You need to dress with the expectation of being able to quickly take off excess clothing and not freeze on the way.
The optimal set looks like this: evening dress + long outerwear:
- coat, fur coat, sheepskin coat - in winter;
- raincoat, trench coat - in spring and autumn.
It’s time to remember about the “shift” - dancing in boots is hot and uncomfortable.
Tips for plus size girls
- You need to demonstrate your curvy figure skillfully - without trying to ignore its presence, without wearing clothes for skinny people and without hiding in baggy outfits.
- For such an occasion, balloon dresses and imitation kimonos are good. Retro is an opportunity to demonstrate yourself in all its delicious glory.
- The ideal length of the skirt is midi, and the a-line shape is better than others. We select a blouse with a waistAhome and catchy accessories.
- Dark trousers and jeans with a blazer or silk tunic are another good set.
Important! Impressive forms require the right balance of outfit and accessories - the latter is given the role of “soloist”. Gloves, a beautifully tied scarf, jewelry in addition to moderate sets (no iridescent fabrics or sequins!) will allow you to stand out from the elegant crowd.
