Bags have become a necessity in our lives. But a useful thing that can hold various small accessories requires attention and care. And from time to time you have to wash the inside of the bag. There can be many reasons, for example, wearing pens without caps leads to paste leakage. And cosmetics are no exception.
We will tell you what you can do in different situations and how to properly wash the inside of the bag.
How to wash a lining
When starting to process the lining, you should carefully inspect it. If there are stains, you need to remove them, and only then wash the lining fabric.
Removing stains from lining
- Ink stain can be removed with regular hairspray. Take a cotton swab and spritz on the polish, then rub the stain. The cotton wool will instantly begin to absorb the ink. Next, use a soft sponge soaked in soapy water to thoroughly wipe the fabric. Rinse with water and dry.
- You can choose any cleaning product. The main thing is that the stain remover matches the lining material.
IMPORTANT! Be careful! When using substances that are not suitable for a particular fabric, the structure and deformation of the material may change.
- Dishwashing liquid is suitable for removing grease stains or cosmetics.. Apply it to the stained areas and leave for 30 minutes. Then use wet wipes to remove any remaining residue. Dampen a towel with water and wipe away the stain. Dry naturally.
Hand wash lining
Take this action seriously. If your bag has a light-colored lining, it needs special attention.
For washing, use the following solution. For 5 liters of water, add 3 tablespoons of soda, 30 g of washing powder and 10 drops of ammonia.
Pull the lining out. Wash it by hand, gently and carefully, so that the top of the bag remains dry.
Then rinse in cool water with vinegar. Dry well and only then use.
Useful tips
- If you use cleaning products, carefully read the composition and recommendations for use. The internal material of the bags has a different structure.
- Consult a professional about which product is suitable for cleaning your bag.
- After washing, be sure to dry the lining thoroughly. Otherwise, it will begin to mold due to dampness, emitting an unpleasant odor.
- Try not to use the product after washing for a couple of days. Allow the material to dry completely.
