Technicians
There are several embroidery methods:
- Ordinary. Involves the use of the “stitch forward needle” technique. It allows you to create individual tracks, patterns, partial and full filling.
- "Scales." It makes it possible to make more voluminous designs, but more material is wasted, since the sequins are sewn overlapping each other.
- With beads. Fixing the sequins with beads will not only make the embroidery more reliable, but will also allow you to create reflections that shimmer in the light.
Embroidery stitches can be used both secretly and what are called heavy-duty. They require fastening with 2-3 stitches.
When working with sequins, you should not allow it to be too tight. Because of this, the glitter may tear and the seam may unravel. When embroidering in rows, the sequins must be placed in a checkerboard pattern. This way, some elements can hide the spaces between previous ones.
