Most often, the comforter is sewn in the shape of a bunny or another hero from a children's fairy tale.
What is needed to sew a comforter?
It is best to choose non-staining, hypoallergenic fabric so that the child can play comfortably. You can opt for warm fabrics like fleece or thick cotton. If you wish and have free time, you can choose several types of fabric at once for the base of the toy and the design of details (ears, mouth, eyes, tongue or hairstyle). It makes sense to sew such toys with your own hands, because these comforters, in addition to their function, carry some symbolic meaning.
To sew a comforter you will need:

Step-by-step instructions for sewing a comfort toy
Prepare a pattern and think over the toy and decor. It is better to add fabrics in advance to decide which one will be the main one and which one will be for decoration. - Place all the pattern pieces right sides together and join them in pairs using thread and needle, leaving a small gap.

- Stuff all parts with holofiber or other filler.
- Sew up the gaps and connect the parts of the toy together.
