In Ancient Greece, it was the horse of the goddess; in the Middle Ages, it was the horse of magicians and wizards; its horn could relieve diseases and poisoning. The belief in the sacredness of this animal persisted until the 19th century.
Now the unicorn is a symbol of peace, wisdom and love. He fights evil and darkness.

DIY soft unicorn toy
A cute magic horse can be made from material, felt fabric, depicted as a “tilde” doll, or a unicorn pillow can be made.
Let's start with the pillow.
Let's make a unicorn pillow - a horse for the baby's bedside, which can serve as protection, a toy, or a pillow. It will look like a horse's head.
Necessary materials:
- Beautiful shades of cotton fabrics in 3 colors (pink, lilac, white, blue);
- Sintepon, holofiber - for filling;
- Pattern - download from the Internet or draw it yourself.
We offer a sewing master class in our article:
- We place the pattern on the fabric and cut out the horse's head, measuring 33x33 centimeters.
- From a fabric of a different color, cut out a long strip, 9 centimeters wide. Its length should be 1 meter. This is the horse's future mane.
- Fold the strip in half with the right side facing out and make folds. They should start from the horn to the end of the head.
- From the same fabric we cut out the nose part of the unicorn. Place it on the muzzle. We attach it with a zigzag.
- From fabric of the third color, cut out a horn (2 parts) and two circles for the cheeks as a blush. You can make a horn from gold satin fabric.
- We assemble the horn and fill it with holofiber (sintepon). We sew the circles in a circle using a zigzag seam.
- Attach a “blush” to the base of the head.
- Sew on the mane.
- We draw the horse's eyes, and on the nose - the mouth and nostrils, and sew along the drawn lines with a machine.
- We assemble both parts of the head and sew, leaving a hole for filling with filler.
- Turn it inside out and fill it with holofiber.
- Sew up the remaining hole and iron it.
The miracle pillow is ready!

Nowadays, crafts in the “tilde” style are in great demand. But the tilde unicorn, with long legs, doesn’t look very beautiful.
Felt unicorn
Materials:
- Pattern;
- Thin felt – 6-7 colors;
- Glue gun;
- Floss threads.
Master Class:
- Transfer the pattern to the fabric. The body is made white. The mane consists of small circles of different colors. We make the horn bright yellow.
- Glue multi-colored circles of the mane and horn to the back part of the horse's body.
- Assembling the tail - glue 3 multi-colored strips to the white tail blank.
- Glue the tail to the back part of the body.
- We glue the ear and muzzle to the front part of the body. Here we embroider the eye with a needle and thread.
- We put the two halves of the unicorn together and sew them together, filling the inside with stuffing.
- To decorate, apply lipstick or blush with your finger and lightly brown the cheeks of your craft.
