In most cases, leather pillows are square or rectangular in shape. Sewing such a product is quite simple. It is advisable to use a special foot on your sewing machine so that it works without interruption. The process consists of the following steps:
- Place the fabric right side up and fold it in half. On the inside, use a ruler to measure the required width and length.
- Let's connect the dots with a special, disappearing marker. You can use soap or chalk. It is advisable to fasten two layers of material with adhesive tape or clothespins.
- Using tailor's scissors, cut out two parts of the pillow from leather or substitute.
- Place the two pieces with their right sides facing inward, check the dimensions, and trim the edge.
- Make a machine seam on three sides of the product. The fourth side is stitched halfway. After the remaining gap, the pillow will be stuffed.
- Turn the leather pillowcase inside out, stuff it with synthetic padding or other material, and carefully sew up the gap. The leather pillow is ready!
