Deer have long become a real symbol of the New Year and Christmas. Of course, you can buy them in stores, but it’s much nicer and cheaper to make them yourself. Making such toys has become a common women's hobby. Using the master class, you can easily make the craft yourself.

Deer - DIY tilde

Let's start with a more complex, but interesting and domestic deer - tilde. This toy can be given as a holiday gift to your friends, children, or acquaintances. You can simply use it as home decor, giving it warmth and comfort.

Select fabrics for cutting that are bright and colorful. Then the toy will look more elegant.

The materials we will need are:

• paper pattern;
• chalk;
• scissors;
• fabrics;
• holofiber or synthetic winterizer (as a filler);
• beads for eyes;
• sewing machine or thread and needle;

Sewing instructions:

1. Find the stencil you need on the Internet and print it. If you can, draw it yourself.
2. Transfer the pattern to the fabric and trace with tailor's chalk.Make each piece in 2 copies and cut with seam allowances.
3. Machine stitch them along the edges, leaving a small hole in each for filling the toy.
4. Turn each one out and stuff it with holofiber (sintepon). Carefully sew up the holes.
5. Let's start attaching the handles by sewing buttons to the shoulders. Having sewn on the button, we also attach the handle itself with several stitches on each side. This will allow them to freely rise, fall, and move, like a human.
6. We do the same with the legs.
7. Sew on the ears and horns. We sew horns from felt.
8. Let's sew a bright sweater and pants for the little animal, and wrap a red scarf around its neck. Here everyone can fantasize as they please.
9. Now all that remains is to attach the nose (you can stuff it with holofiber), sew on the eyes - beads and embroider a smiling mouth using floss threads. The deer is ready with your own hands!

Making such a souvenir is not difficult, but requires certain skills. Let's consider a simpler option, which even an inexperienced novice master can do.

Christmas tree toy – deer

Let's try to sew a Christmas tree toy. It is better to make the craft from felt (it does not crumble and looks beautiful on the Christmas tree). To hang the craft, prepare a braid or thin satin ribbon.

The sequence of work is approximately the same, but there are much fewer parts, which makes production easier and faster:

1. Prepare a paper stencil of the head.
2. Place the pattern on felt fabric, pin it, trace the outline and cut it out.
3. Baste the pieces with a small stitch by hand through the top (match the threads to match the color), leaving small slits for filling each with filler.
4. Fill the head and horns with filler.
5. Assemble everything into one piece, leaving a hole between the horns for a ribbon or pendant.
6. Sew in the ribbon.
7. Sew on beady eyes, ears, and glue on the nose.
8. Embroider the mouth with thread.
