To start knitting the front part, you need to pull a marking thread into the edge loop or mark this place with a pin. The front part of the peplum also starts with 1 row of the pattern. Having knitted 26 cm from the marking, bind off the edge loops and 9 more loops in the purl row.
The belt tongue is knitted from a separate skein of thread. For this, cast on 11 stitches and knit with an elastic band. At the end of the row, knit 1 edge loop. After knitting 14 cm or 20 rows, bind off the edge loops in the next row. Next, connect the part with the openwork pattern and continue knitting on all the loops. Having knitted 54.5 cm from the marking, bind off all the loops.
