Pants are becoming an integral part of a woman's wardrobe. This is not surprising, because they are very comfortable and do not restrict movement. They can easily fit into a business style, as well as a more relaxed and sporty one.
If the trousers have lace inserts, they will add romance and even more femininity to the image. However, choosing the right option for yourself can be extremely difficult; not all models fit your figure. In this case, there is a way out: make them yourself. The most common option is to sew, but there is another option - to knit. A skilled craftswoman can easily knit any trousers herself.

Progress
The trousers are knitted in one piece from the top edge. The arrows on the pattern indicate the knitting direction.
Drawstring belt
Cast on 182 stitches on size 4 needles. 1-28 r. - knit with an elastic band. In this case, it is important to use markers to mark the transitions between rows
29 rub. – in the front part, enter the drawstring. To do this, select 40 loops from the marker and knit them with an elastic band. Leave the next 11 loops on an auxiliary knitting needle or safety pin.
Turn the knitting over. On the remaining 171 loops, knit 4 rows with an elastic band and leave loops; there is no need to cut the thread.
Attach a new thread to the 11 loops left on the pin or knitting needle. Knit 4 rows of elastic on them. Then cut the thread.
Next, continue working on all 182 loops, knitting with an elastic band in circular rows.
Having knitted 12 cm from the beginning of the drawstring, change the knitting needles to No. 4.5 and continue knitting with stockinette stitch.
Pants legs
Knit another 9.5 cm or 28 r in stockinette stitch and mark the middle stitches for the back and front parts, highlighting them with a marker. On each side of it, knit 1 crossed loop from broaches. In the same way, increase 4 more times in every 6th row. After all the increases you should have a total of 202 stitches.
Divide the resulting loops into two halves of 101, while focusing on the markers highlighted earlier.
Let's start by knitting the right half. To do this, knit 4 more rows. For the gusset, starting from the 3rd row, decrease 1 time by 1 loop and 1 time by 2 loops. The result should be 104 loops. Add 11 more loops to them. There are now 115 stitches on the needles.
Continue knitting the right trouser leg in stockinette stitch. In the part where the side seam should be, knit an openwork pattern according to the proposed pattern. Repeat all rows from 1 to 12.
At the location of the gusset, decrease 2 stitches 5 times in every 4th row. To do this, knit them together with the front one. The last 2 loops are also knitted together, but also tilted to the left. Decrease in this way until there are 105 stitches left on the needle.
After repeating the lace pattern 18 times, that is, knitting another 216 rows, begin knitting the hem. To do this, knit the next row with purl stitches. After this, knit another 10 row with stockinette stitch and bind off all the loops.
The left leg is knitted in a mirror pattern.
Assembly
Fold the top edge to the wrong side and stitch. Fold the hems on each side to the wrong side and stitch. Sew a seam in the gusset.
You need to insert a cord into the drawstring belt. You can buy it or crochet it yourself from VP and RLS. Knitted pants with an openwork pattern are ready!
