A scarf collar or shirtfront is a product knitted in the round. This product has a collar that fits tightly to the neck and a cape that should cover the shoulders.
Scarf or collar scarf?
At first glance, both wardrobe items perform the same task - to protect the neck from the cold. However, a collar scarf is more practical than a regular scarf. This product serves not only as a warm scarf, but also as a cape that evenly warms the neck. It does not unravel or fall off, and therefore is perfect not only for an adult, but also for a child. There are many variations of such scarves: they can be of different shapes, with or without a hood, with buttons, openwork or tightly knitted. Knitting such a shirtfront yourself is not as difficult as it seems. In this article we will look at several options for collar scarves for different seasons.
